| NONSTOP, consisting of Andrea, Katia, Liliana and Rita, were picked out of 1,500 participants to win the first TV musical talent show ‘POPSTAR’, which was broadcast in 2001 by SIC. Their first album went gold, and they immediately released a second one, which is still on sale.
NONSTOP see themselves as an international band, able to represent Portugal globally. With an extraordinary vocal range, NONSTOP have been fighting for their place in the sun for the past five years, without ever giving up.
Their victory in the Eurovision selection contest was not a big surprise and, since they believe in their vocal abilities, they consider themselves among the favourites at the Eurovision Song Contest. For five years, this group of friends has surprised and delighted Portugal, and is now ready to conquer Europe and, who knows, the world.
