Jennifer Lopez should keep a close eye on her husband. Meet Mariana, whose innermost wish is a candlelit dinner with J-Lo’s husband, Marc Anthony.
Mariana Popova was born in Sofia, Bulgaria. She has been studying music since she was 11 and she later attended classes in modern and jazz ballet.
At high school, Mariana went to a special music class. And in the New Bulgarian University of Sofia, she studied Major Pop and Jazz Singing.
Between 1996 and 2000, Mariana was part of the group Cocomania.
Her discography includes the singles and videos: ‘You Didn’t Come’, ‘I Said’, ‘We Can Do It Again’ and ‘There Isn’t Anything’. The two duets with Dani Milev – ‘After’ and ‘Dream About Me’ – have won many prizes, including a first and a third prize at the ‘Burgas and the Sea’ festival and the Special Prize of the Rotary Club, Burgas, Bulgaria.
Asked about herself, Mariana says that she hopes to never stop dreaming and that she appreciates talented people. She believes in herself and in reincarnation. And, of course, in her deepest fantasy coming true… Marc, by candlelight! |
