| My full name is Knut Anders Sørum.
I was born and raised in a small place in Norway called "Skreien." It’s so small you won't find it on the map. It is about one and a half hour drive north of Oslo, Norway’s capital, a very small place compared to Istanbul.
I live on the edge of a forest and in winter I spend a lot of time snowboarding. I just love snow and winter sports.
I have experienced a lot since I started playing the piano as a kid. I've been touring with my own band “EXPECT” for ten years. We’ve hiked deep into the forests of Finland, lounged on the beaches of Spain and smelled the smog of Los Angeles! We've also toured in France, Denmark, Sweden, Estonia, Poland and Russia.
Most of EXPECT’s songs are written by band member, Lewi Bergrud and myself. We've released two albums and one EP.
Besides having my own recording studio, I'm also an eager amateur photographer. You will find some of my pictures on my website www.knutanders.com. There you will get an impression of how things look in my own beautiful corner of the world.
In addition to doing music and photography, I'm also an amateur actor and have acted in theatre productions and movies. I am in the Norwegian movie “Asfaltevangeliet,” which will be released September 2004 in Norway.
